About the Legacy Group
Welcome, we're glad that you are here. We hope that you find me useful
information on the Legacy site and we hope to see you at a meeting tonight.
Legacy meets every day at noon and at 6:00 P.M. Monday thru Saturday,
and on Sundays at 11 A.M. (Women's Meeting) and at 1:00 P.M. (Discussion
Meeting). Speaker meetings are at 6:00 P.M. Sunday Nights. All Meetings
are Nonsmoking and all Meetings Are Closed Except For Sundays, and Any
Meeting That An Annual Birthday Is Being Recognized.
This site is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Ida Norma (Stebbins)
Stevens, (12/12/1915- 2/12/1995) whose gentle and loving spirit helped
guide me to sobriety. Thanks Mom. Gen. 31/49
This is not an official A.A. web site. A lot of the material
on this site is from The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. The
parts that aren't are from The Grapevine or are borrowed from other AA
related sites or have been donated or sent in from other sources, and

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS® is a fellowship of men and women who share their
experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their
common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement
for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees
for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization
or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses
nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help
other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
